A ROYAL Air Force plane was spotted flying over Sussex.
The Airbus A400M Atlas flew over Lancing and East Worthing yesterday at about 2.30pm.
The aircraft, which measures more than 45 metres in length, then passed low over Shoreham Airport, where it turned to head north towards Edinburgh.
Residents impressed by the sight took videos of the plane as it glided overhead, including Steven Carlberg, who captured the plane as it headed towards Shoreham Airport.
According to the RAF Brize Norton station, the flight was part of essential training and was not connected with the fight against coronavirus.
This afternoon, our A400M aircraft will be operating in the vicinity of Gatwick, Shoreham and Edinburgh, whilst engaged in essential training.
