ONE of the country’s finest gardens will reopen next week.
West Dean Gardens near Chichester will welcome back visitors from next Friday as the coronavirus lockdown eases, saying it would provide a “tranquil” retreat.
There will be a new foxglove display, wildflower meadows and vibrant rhododendrons in the arboretum.
NHS workers will be granted free entry and everyone will need to pre-book tickets.
West Dean featured on BBC Gardeners’ World last month where it was dubbed “one of the UK’s greatest gardens”.
