A HOUSEBUILDER is offering NHS workers a contribution towards a new home.
Barratt Homes will give healthcare workers a five per cent contribution towards a deposit for one of their homes, under a new scheme to thank NHS staff for their efforts during the coronavirus crisis.
It means NHS workers can receive up to £15,000 towards any new Barratt home.
The housebuilder is behind the developments in Chalkers Rise in Peacehaven, Saxon Mills in Hassocks, and Wychwood Park homes in Haywards Heath.
Julian Hodder, managing director for Barratt Southern Counties, said: “We want to say a big thank you to our brilliant NHS workers who have shown such courage in the face of the Covid-19 crisis.
“This is why we are announcing this new NHS deposit contribution scheme to thank them for all they have done.”
