A COLLEGE has launched its adult education programme for 2020/2021.

Varndean College in Brighton is currently taking enrolments for its adult community education programme, which begins in September.

The college offers a range of courses to boost employability, including business skills, social media for business, photoshop and English for speakers of other languages.

Courses can also set students on a path to becoming a qualified counsellor or working in the childcare and education sector.

Students can top up their skills by taking GCSEs in subjects such as maths, English, biology, Italian and Spanish.

There is also a wide variety of leisure courses for those looking to learn a new hobby, such as painting, flower arranging, photography, or bridge, or learning a new language or how to play a musical instrument.

Students hoping to get fit can enrol on one of the college’s many health and fitness classes, such as yoga, Pilates or tai chi.

Courses take place either at the main Varndean College site in Surrenden Road, or as part of the college’s Community Learning programme in Bevendean, Moulsecoomb, Whitehawk and Woodingdean.
