A MAN has been charged with drugs offences after an alert over ‘dangerous’ blue pills.
Police were worried when several people were rushed to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton on Friday night.
They all had similar symptoms after taking blue tablets which wer reportedly sold in the city.
Officers warned the public to steer well clear of the blue pills, and get rid of any blue pills they may possess.
Now the force has confirmed that 154 pills have been seized as part of an investigation.
Now police have confirmed that unemployed 47-year-old Tamer Elsherif, of Southover Street, Brighton, was arrested and charged.
He was due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court accused of two counts of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply.
