SATURDAY’S summer solstice saw Argus Camera Club members head out and capture some stunning shots.

Keith Wells beautifully framed the sun going down on the longest day of the year when he visited Lancing Ring Nature Reserve.

And there was a breathtaking weekend rainbow for Moon Sandy just a few hours later.

It was not all about the sun though for our eager snappers.

A deer was caught on camera by Nathan Booth looking alert to a photo opportunity.

Sticking with nature, a couple of bright butterflies were zoomed in on.

And talking of zooming, Back To The Future fans will know what Andy Webb was referring to with his trailblazing shot of the A27.

There are plenty of like-minded photographers always willing to give tips and show off their shots from around our spectacular county.

Our June competition is also still running with the theme of “heat” which is appropriate looking at the forecast for much of this week.

A £50 prize is up for grabs and entrants are allowed just one picture each.
