GROUPS of people drinking in a park left the area in an "unacceptable state," police have said.
Officers responded to reports of "youths drinking" in Horsham Park .
But, when they arrived, they found glass bottles, plastic bags scattered across the grass.
A spokesman for the force shared images of the aftermath and said: "Tonight there were reports of youths drinking in Horsham Park.
"This is the unacceptable state it was left in, ruining it for the other Horsham residents."
On Saturday, the force said it was "aware of large groups of people in Horsham Park this evening, in breach of coronavirus restrictions".
As a result, a dispersal order was put in place in the park until 2am the following morning "to prevent further anti-social behaviour".
Officers said they would "patrol the area to ensure everyone complies".
