A MAN will appear in court accused of an arson attack with intent to endanger life.
Michael Coppendale, 34, is accused of the crime at an address in The Birches in Crawley on Saturday. Fuel was poured through a hole in the front door of the property but it was not set alight. Several people were in the house but none were hurt. Coppendale, a builder of Cherry Lane, Crawley, was remanded in custody after he was charged by the CPS. He will appear in court on July 21.
