POLICE have appealed for help to track down a burglary suspect who used a stolen bank card.

The man was seen using the card at Longridge Avenue in Saltdean at 3pm on May 31.

He bought cigarettes, a scratch card and alcohol from a shop, before buying more cigarettes from Sainsbury’s in Peacehaven.

It follows a burglary when a bungalow in Manor Hill, Brighton was targeted earlier that day.

Police are now keen to identify the suspect.

He wore a beige hat, yellow T-shirt and light coloured shorts with white trainers.

He may also have a slight goatee beard and dark hair.

Anyone who recognises the description or who has information should report it to Sussex Police online or alternatively they should call 101 and quote 49 of 01/06.
