A west Dorset singer has helped a shanty group during lockdown.
Kay Luckcraft, who is a singer with Lyme Bay Chorale and also a founder member of the Lyme Light Singers, was only too happy to make some shawls for the Lyme Bay Moonrakers in preparation for when they can perform again.
Kay said it was a pleasure to do something productive for another local singing group and she is looking forward to seeing the Moonrakers in action in the future.
Lyme Bay Moonrakers is a group of women and men singing shanties and songs of the sea, both traditional and new ones written by members of the group.
