HAVING had a cycle along Hove and Brighton seafront on Wednesday, we were appalled by the amount of rubbish, bottles and glasses on Hove Lawns, the beach and prom.
It looks as if people eat and drink then just get up and leave all their rubbish.
Can’t something be done about this?
At the risk of sounding like my mother, we didn’t do this and we were told to put our rubbish in the bin (and if there wasn’t one, to take it home with us).
Providing larger bins along the prom would be a start.
Well done to all those workers clearing up other people’s mess.
I feel it needs some sort of litter awareness to get the public to clear up after themselves... but then, even Bill Bryson gave up trying.
