A WOMAN suffered facial injuries after she was assaulted in a street.
The 28-year-old was attacked on Thursday between 9.30pm and 9.45pm in Queens Road, Hastings, near the Money Shop and Erol's Kebab shop.
Police have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, and he has been released on bail until July 23 while enquiries continue.
The two people are known to each other, police say.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call 101 and quote serial 1728 of 25/06.
