The Lyme Regis town bus service has resumed.
The 71 service, which is subsidised by the town council, was suspended from April 6 at the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and amid declining passenger numbers.
A spokesman for Lyme Regis Town Council said: “The bus operator, Go South Coast, gave an assurance the service would resume when the situation improved, and it is now in a position to resume the vital bus route.
“Passengers will be required to wear a face covering, as this is a legal requirement when using public transport.
“The bus is dressed so it is clear to passengers which seats they can use to adhere to social distancing.”
The previous timetable and route remains in place.
