THREE more coronavirus deaths have been confirmed at Sussex hospitals since Friday, according to the latest figures.
Data from NHS England shows there have now been 90 deaths at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, three more than were reported on Friday.
Figures for coronavirus deaths at other hospital trusts in Sussex all remained the same. No more fatalities were confirmed by Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, and the total stands at 146 deaths.
Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has recorded 113 deaths, Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has reported 257, while Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust has recorded 18.
Nationally, 22 deaths were recorded where Covid-19 was listed on death certificates, bringing the UK death toll to 44,220.
Public Health England has now changed the way it reports on positive cases, to remove duplicates across swab test results from inside hospitals and test results from the wider population.
It means the figures have been revised, and the national total for positive cases is now 285,416, with an additional 544 cases reported today.
The total number of positive cases in Brighton and Hove is 766. East Sussex has 1,488 cases now that test results from the community are included, and West Sussex has 2,689.
