A COUNCIL is using a Sky TV advert to encourage people to become foster parents.
It highlights the change people in Brighton and Hove can make to a child’s life by choosing to foster.
Foster carers provide a safe, stable, nurturing home where a child or young person can live while their own family is unable to look after them.
The TV advert, which will also run on Brighton and Hove City Council’s social media, is the first of its kind produced by its fostering team.
A council spokeswoman said: "We are not-for-profit. This means that above all else, it’s the children who benefit from what we do.
"You’ll be part of our growing and vibrant foster carer community, which we believe is the best out there.
"We are proud of our fostering community and the incredible work our foster carers do for our looked after children.
"The support and training we give our foster carers is second to none.
"We welcome interest in fostering from all sections of our diverse community. It can be a great alternative to a standard 9-5 job."
