PEOPLE are being told to expect delays on the railway this morning due to “points of failure” on the line.
Southern Rail said disruption between Brighton and Haywards Heath started at about 7am this morning and passengers could now face delays of up to 30 minutes.
A spokesman said: “All lines are open between Brighton and Haywards Heath, however services are being residually delayed by up to 30 minutes whilst we return to normal working service.”
Travellers will be able to use their tickets on certain bus routes until normal service resumes.
These are the Metrobus 271 for Crawley, Haywards Heath & Brighton, 272 and 273 for Crawley, Three Bridges and Brighton.
As well as routes between Brighton and Preston Park on Brighton and Hove Buses.
