A FESTIVAL has said its flag will fly “come what may” as it announces dates for activities.
Petworth Festival showcases music, theatre, comedy, family entertainment and visual arts from across the world.
Organisers said the 42nd year of celebrations will go ahead, despite the coronavirus crisis.
Artistic director Stewart Collins said: “The news over the past months has been almost unremittingly bad, but throughout the torrid months we’ve all experienced, my colleagues at the Petworth Festival have been determined that, come what may, the Petworth Festival flag will fly during 2020.
“The happy news we are now in a position to announce is thanks to the generosity and continued commitment of our sponsors, patrons and friends.”
Events will be held from July 14 to August 1.
