A STALKER has been put under a restraining order after a two month spell of “degrading” abuse.

Andreas Theophanatos, 28, sent messages to a woman in Haywards Heath.

In one message he told her: “We know you, we know where you work.

“We know about your history. We know where to find you.”

Another chilling message read: “We intend to follow through with our plans. You cannot hide.

“We are closer than you think.

“The end is close. Soon you will know who we are, we are close.”

Theophanatos, of Mulberry Court, Guildford, appeared at Horsham Magistrates’ Court, where he admitted stalking.

Magistrate Kevin Tween imposed a six-month suspended prison sentence and said the offence involved the “degradation of the victim” that was “planned and detailed”.

Theophanatos was put under the restraining order and must also complete 20 rehabilitation sessions, with a £122 surcharge and £85 costs.
