FREEVIEW appears to be suffering from issues tonight.
The independent outage monitor, down detector, has seen an increasing rise in reports of problems within the last 20 minutes.
Issues began just after 9am today with users taking to social media to report problems with the TV service.
People across Sussex are reporting issues.
Here's just a quick cross selection fo complaints from the last 20 minutes.
- "@FreeviewAdvice hey freeview we've no signal in Brighton. Is there a transmitter issue?"
- "@FreeviewTV what's happened to my Freeview signal?? no signal? I was watching Ex-Machina...."
- "all of freeview TV in the UK just crashed at exactly midnight. did somebody spill some coffee on a switchboard or something?"

The offiial website does have a function that allows users to check Freeview service in your area by entering your postcode to check the status of Freeview where you live.
However, with these issues appearing to not be localised, instead impacting users up and down the UK.
The service has been contacted for a comment.
