A GAS leak is causing long delays as a road has been closed in both directions.
There is very slow traffic through Uckfield as the A22 Uckfield Bypass has been closed since 4.45am, between the B2102 Copwood roundabout to the A26 Lewes Road Little Horsted roundabout.
Traffic heading between East Grinstead and Eastbourne is affected by the closure, with long delays expecetd due to drivers avoiding the A22.
