A 49-YEAR-OLD man was arrested after an incident in a supermarket.
Cumbria Constabulary say the man is currently in custody after he was apprehended for criminal damage at the Brampton Co-op on Main Street.
Police got the call yesterday at 12pm, however it's believed to have taken place during the early hours.
It is understood the store had to close for a time afterwards.
A spokesman for the constabulary said: "Officers were called on July 15 to an incident of criminal damage.
"It is believed to have occurred about 4.40am Wednesday morning."
"The man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and is now in custody."
