A PRIMARY school which was previously under threat of closure is opening an additional class as pupil numbers have increased.
Fletching Primary School in Uckfield is creating a new “Ladybird” class for reception children in September due to a high demand for places.
The school was threatened with closure last year but was given a chance by East Sussex County Council to become more sustainable after a successful campaign by residents.
