A WOMAN was attacked in a caravan at a holiday park.

Gary Marshall assaulted the woman and damaged doors to the static caravan.

The 25-year-old caused £1,500 worth of damage for the site owned by Parkdean Resorts in Camber Sands earlier this month.

Marshall appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court where he admitted assault and criminal damage.

District Judge Tessa Szagun heard how it was a “serious and sustained” attack and imposed a 20-week suspended sentence.

Marshall, of Milbourne Grove, Sittingbourne, must pay £1,500 compensation and complete 30 Building Better Relationships sessions to improve his behaviour.
