MEN wanted over assaults, burglaries, and absconding from prison remain at large on Sussex Police’s “most wanted” list.

Daniel Meehan is wanted in connection with two burglaries in Woodingdean on June 28.

The 27-year-old is a white man with an athletic build, is 5ft 8ins tall with mousy brown hair and stubble.

He is known to have links to Woodingdean and the Albion Hill area of Brighton.

Meanwhile there is a £500 reward available for information which leads to the capture of 23-year-old William Westein.

He was released on licence while serving a three-year term for driving while banned, dangerous driving, failing to stop, possessing an offensive weapon, and possessing cannabis.

Westein has links to the Brighton and Littlehampton areas, and is white with short brown hair and blue eyes.

There is also a £500 reward in place for 26-year-old Jack Davies from Seaford.

He is suspected of assaulting another man during an altercation and possessing an offensive weapon on June 11.

Detective Inspector Glenn Taylor said: “Davies was the victim of an unpleasant assault and our initial priority was to ensure his welfare. Fortunately, information suggests that he is physically well.

“We are keen to locate him so he can be assessed by a health professional to confirm this and also so we can speak to him about these offences and the altercation in Oxford Street, Brighton.”

Darryl Dempsey, from Eastbourne, is at large over crimes such as using a gun to avoid arrest, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and stealing a tractor. He was convicted, but fled a hospital where he was receiving treatment. The 25-year-old was last seen wearing a black Armani T-shirt, black shorts, blue Air Max trainers and a dark blue jumper.

Dempsey fled hospital on June 30, and was convicted at Swansea Crown Court in October last year.

His other offences include driving while banned, criminal damage, and stealing a car.

Kamil Kaminski is wanted over a brutal attack where a man suffered a broken eye socket in a supermarket.

A 39-year-old man was attacked in the Co-op in St James’ Street, Brighton, on Thursday, July 9.

The victim sustained head injuries and a fractured eye socket.

Kaminski, 22, is also wanted in a separate case, for failing to appear at Brighton Magistrates Court in July.

He was due to answer charges of theft of a motor scooter, failing to stop for police, failing to comply with traffic signals and driving without a licence or insurance, all in Brighton in April.

Kaminski is white, 5ft 5in and of medium build with light brown hair.

James Hutton was at Ford open prison following his convictions for burglary, assaulting the police, and driving dangerously in Sussex.

The missing 30-year-old has links to Eastbourne, and to Mitcham in South London. He is a slight 6ft tall man with short dark hair, he has a scar on his face.

Hutton has been missing since July 14, where he was serving a sentence at the open prison for his crimes.

Police believe he has taken clothes with him and is likely to have changed soon after leaving prison.
