A CAR was badly damaged in a crash with a delivery van.
The front end of the silver hatchback was destroyed in the collision in Fulfords Hill, near Horsham, shortly before 4pm yesterday.
In the aftermath of the collision, images from the scene show a FedEx delivery van which has left the road.
A silver car sits behind it, with significant damage having been caused to the front of the vehicle in the crash.
The bonnet is crumpled and misshapen, while the bumper has completely separated from the car and lies in the road surrounded by debris.
Ambulance crews and police officers were called to the scene to deal with the incident.
PC Tom Van Der Wee of the Sussex Police Roads Policing Unit was one of the responding officers.
He shared an update on the crash on social media, saying: "I’ve booked on and headed out to a road traffic collision with Horsham Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"Thankfully those involved have only sustained minor injuries."
