Body of a man found near church
THE body of a man has been found.
Shortly before 1pm today, police received a report of a man’s body found near Church Lane, Albourne, Hassocks.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “Officers attended and the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed.”
A stretch of land near St Bartholomew church was cordoned off by police.
