A boy has been hit by a car in Washington
A BOY has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
Police were called to the scene in Storrington Road, Washington, near Old Clayton Kennels, at 5.17pm.
The road has been closed while emergency services deal with the incident and there is queueing traffic in the area.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “The boy’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening”
“He has been taken to hospital as a precaution,” he added.
