The scene of yesterday's crash at the site
THERE has been another collision near the site of a fatal accident yesterday.
Two vehicles crashed on the A26 near Newhaven at the junction of Avis Road at about 6.30pm.
The road is partially blocked and the emergency services are en route.
Yesterday, an elderly pedestrian was killed when she was hit by a lorry at the site.
The air ambulance was called but the woman, who was in her 70s, died at the scene.
