A MAN has died after his car flipped over and burst into flames on the A27.
The car was at Hammerpot Hill, near Arundel, when it crashed at 5.15pm yesterday.
Efforts were made to revive the man in his 20s, but he died at the scene.
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash.
A spokesman said: “A blue Vauxhall Astra was travelling eastbound when it left the road, flipped over and caught fire.
“Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the driver of the vehicle – a man in his 20s - sadly died at the scene.
“Next of kin have been informed.”
