AN ENVIABLE seafront shop space is up for rent.

The unit, between the i360 tower and Brighton Beach Club in the West Pier Arches, is available from August 22 and costs £10,000 a year.

It is currently occupied by The Hat Hut – but the company is moving to different arches on August 21.

The unit has its own metered electricity, water supply and an accessible toilet. It comprises two arches with two doors and four sets of windows.

Brighton and Hove City Council said it is seeking a high quality shop to “complement the businesses in the adjoining units and add to the established vibrant and interesting tenant mix”.

It said it is not looking for a café or restaurant, and uses in the A1 retail class are preferred. Other businesses in the West Pier Arches include Gelato Gusto, Brighton Photographers Gallery, Cadeau and Artist Anon.

The lease lasts ten years and rent is payable quarterly in advance.
