A motorist who drove into the back of another vehicle at Gatwick Airport received threats which made her fear for her safety.

The woman was driving a silver Citroen Saxo which crashed into a red saloon car at the South Terminal bus stop.

The male driver of the saloon threatened her and she drove off because she feared for her safety, according to a Sussex Police spokeswoman.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened at about 9.15am on November 14, to contact them.

Police only released details of the incident today.
