A WOMAN admitted stealing beauty products from a major high street retailer.
Jodie Newington took £748 worth of goods from Boots in North Street, Brighton.
The 34-year-old also stole alcohol from a Tesco store in Shoreham during her crime spree earlier this year.
Newington appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court, where she admitted the two shop thefts on January 15 and January 17.
She also admitted driving without insurance.
Magistrate Alfred Hake gave her a conditional discharge, which was outside his usual sentencing guidelines.
That was because of Newington’s “psychological circumstances at the time of the offences”, the court heard.
Newington, of Stephens Road, Brighton, must pay £300 court costs, a £120 fine and £32 surcharge.
She was also given six penalty points on her driving licence.
