A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a fake gun was seen at a school.
Police were called to Holy Trinity School in Buckswood Drive, Gossops Green, Crawley, at 12.45pm today.
The boy was taken to Crawley police station to be questioned on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.
The school has about 1300 pupils aged between 11 and 18.
Inspectors gave it a "good" rating overall in its latest Ofsted report last November.
Four teenage girls were expelled from the school for snorting cocaine before a lesson in January 2006.
Six months later two girls aged between 14 and 15 were excluded from the school for possession of cannabis.
