I would like to thank the person who took the time and trouble to hand in my friend's stolen jacket to the police station.
It was taken from a pub and my friend had to hurry home in the cold to cancel his credit cards.
He visited the police station to report the loss and his faith in human nature was restored when he found out that his favourite jacket, mobile phone and credit cards had all been handed in.
Only a little bit of cash was missing. The person did not leave any details. We will give a sum of money to charity and say a prayer for the thief.
