A MAN bombarded a woman with unwanted messages and phone calls.

Omar Brown admitted contacting the woman in Brighton via Facebook and Instagram, as well as making calls and leaving voicemails.

The 25-year-old appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court where he admitted harassment between March and April this year.

Brown, of Kings Highway, Greenwich, was told to complete 20 rehabilitation sessions and was put under a restraining order.

Magistrate Dr Ian Haffenden ordered Brown to pay £50 in compensation, and said the restraining order is to prevent Brown contacting the victim.

Brown must also not attend her address in Brighton, or the University of Brighton campus at Moulsecoomb.

The order lasts until August next year.
