PARAMEDICS found a man alone with face injuries outside a bank.
The ambulance crew called for police help after the incident at 4.13am on August 16 in Worthing town centre.
Police said a man in his 20s had to be taken to hospital for treatment, and officers believe he was attacked at about 4am.
The man had made a purchase in Subway in Chapel Road. Witnesses are asked to contact Sussex Police online or on 101 and quote 317 of 16/08.
