NINETEEN new coronavirus cases were reported across Sussex today.
Public Health England reported ten new cases in West Sussex.
That brings the total number of cases in the county to 2,922.
Nine new cases were reported in East Sussex today.
The county has reported 1,699 infections so far.
Brighton and Hove reported no new cases in the latest 24-hour period.
So far, 860 cases have been reported in the city since the pandemic began.
No deaths were reported in Sussex hospitals.
Nationally 1,522 new cases were reported, bringing the UK total to 330,368.
Twelve deaths were reported in the UK, bringing the total to 41,477.
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust has recorded 148 deaths so far. East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has reported 100 deaths.
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has reported 260. Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust has reported 18 and the Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has reported 113.
