TEMPORARY changes have been made to planning law due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Existing planning permissions including outline permission and listed building consents which were due to be implemented between March 23 and December 31 2020 have now been automatically extended until May 1 next year, Brighton and Hove City Council said.
Anyone whose planning permission expired between March 23 and August 18 will need to apply for an Additional Environmental Approval through the council.
Once the required information is received, the council has 28 days to make a decision, unless a longer period is agreed.
Full guidance is available at gov.uk and on the planning section of the city council website at brighton-hove.gov.uk.
