MORE than a quarter of children are nervous about seeing their friends back at school after a long time apart.
According to a survey by health supplements company Equazen, seven in ten children aged between six and 14 are anxious about school, with nearly one in five saying they fear not having anything in common with their friends any more.
Almost half felt they have drifted from school friends.
Thirty per cent of those asked also fear others will not be responsible with social distancing and hand washing.
More than two thirds of survey participants said they were aware of the new rules upon returning to school, while nearly a quarter admitted to not knowing the new rules.
