A PROLIFIC shoplifter has been jailed for his latest crime spree.
James Hollingsworth raided stores in Chichester including Marks and Spencer, the Co-op, and Iceland
In December the 37-year-old, pictured, stole food worth £85 from Iceland. Then in February he stole clothes from M&S in North Street. In June he tried to steal at the Co-op in East Street and assaulted a staff member.
Then in July he damaged wine bottles in One Stop in St Paul’s Road and assaulted a man there.
The crimes put Hollingsworth in breach of a suspended sentence for other shoplifting and theft offences.
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court he was jailed for six months.
Hollingsworth, of Fishbourne Road, Chichester, was also ordered to pay compensation with £88.
