A HARLEY-DAVIDSON motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash.
The 63-year-old sustained severe leg injuries in a collision with a black Ford Fiesta on the A28 at Northiam.
The accident happened on Wednesday last week.
Police said the Fiesta driver failed to stop.
The motorcyclist, from Romney Marsh, was taken to the Conquest Hospital in St Leonards for treatment.
The crash happened at the junction with New Road at about 12.50pm.
The police are now seeking witnesses.
Sussex Police said the car involved was a “newer-style Fiesta”.
A spokesman said: “Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw either of the vehicles in the area around that time or captured them on dash cam is asked to get in touch.
“Email us at collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 632 of 26/08.”
Witnesses can also call the police on 101.
