FREE events and activities are taking place for the next two weeks across East Sussex as part of Heritage Open Days.
The week-long festival is England’s largest celebration of people, heritage and culture. This year’s theme is ‘hidden nature’ which aims to encourage us to spend time outdoors and discover green spaces.
A recent YouGov poll commissioned by the National Trust revealed that interest in nature has risen by a third (33 per cent) since the start of lockdown.
Heritage Open Days is coordinated by the National Trust and supported by the People’s Postcode Lottery.
All events are free, including access to many sites that usually charge for admission.
Will you be attending any of the events next week? Let us know in the comments.
