A BAR and restaurant has shut after a customer tested positive for Covid-19.
The Owl and Pussycat Lounge in Hastings announced the closure yesterday after staff were informed that a customer who had visited on Friday, August 28 has since tested positive for coronavirus.
The bar will be shut while staff are tested and deep cleaning is carried out.
A post on the Owl and Pussycat Lounge Facebook page states: "We are contacting everyone who has been in the venue over the last week and half.
"We will of course keep everyone updated and informed.
"Please if you have concerns or worries do not hesitate to contact us."
Last month The Blackboys Inn near Uckfield shut after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus.
