A MAN has been ordered to pay compensation after abuse and damage to a television at a hotel.
Paul Stevenson caused £250 worth of damage at The Brighton Hotel on the seafront in King’s Road.
He used threatening or abusive behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress during the incident in June.
Stevenson, 54, of no fixed address, admitted criminal damage and the threats at Brighton Magistrates’ Court. He was ordered to pay £250 in compensation.
Magistrate Barbara Dart also ordered him to pay a £22 surcharge and £85 costs as she gave Stevenson a conditional discharge.
