The Jazz Place has been refurbished and Basement Soul is making a welcome return every fourth Friday, excluding December.

This month's special guests are Southampton's Emotive collective, including Ken Luckhurst, who has twice reached the DMC finals and produces for Mr Bongo, and Ryan Hunn from Manchester's Fat City.

Greymatter and Matt Neale complete the bill. You can also find the residents every week upstairs at Kabuki, Middle Street, Brighton. Entry is free and the nights start at 10pm.
