POLICE want to track down a suspected car thief who has links to the area.

Harry Avis is wanted over the incident in Brighton on August 26.

The 22-year-old is alleged to have taken a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

He is a white man who is 6ft 2ins tall, with brown hair and medium build, and is “known to frequent the Brighton area”, police said.

Anyone who sees him or who has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Sussex Police online or call 101 quoting 926 of 26/08.
