Who better to headline the closing party for the excellent CineCity film festival than Addictive TV, who have one foot in the art world and one in the club scene.
The pair use laptops and DVD turntables to create breakbeat AV remixes and mash-ups. DJ magazine has twice crowned them best VJs in the world.
Currently the only people officially sampling and remixing Hollywood movies for the major studios, turning them into club tracks for viral adverts, they're much better than the movies they've been asked to work on.
After making their debut with the Antonio Banderas romcom Take The Lead last year, they have gone on to work on remixes of Snakes On A Plane and Shoot 'Em Up. But their new take on the great Get Carter, which will be aired here, should redress the balance.
They have also played a silent disco gig in the main dance tent at Glastonbury, when the PA was shut down and the clubbers were given wireless headphones.
