A POLICE officer has released pictures of the crash scene that meant one side of the M23 had to be closed

Traffic was queueing for two miles after a crash on the M23.
Two cars were involved in the collision near Crawley. No serious injuries have been reported.
There is congestion up to Junction 9, the Gatwick Airport spur road.
Emergency services are in attendance.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "Police responded to a two car collision on the M23 near Crawley at 2.10pm on Monday.
"Officers are at the scene assisting with road closures and vehicle recovery.
"No serious injuries have been reported.
