The alleged inside man in Britain's biggest cash robbery has denied drawing a plan of the Securitas depot where it took place - claiming it was "rubbish" and he could have done better.

Emir Hysenaj is accused of providing information about the site in Tonbridge, Kent to the gang who stole £53 million in February last year.

Hysenaj, who worked at Securitas, was shown a rough sketch drawn on a scrap of paper, said to be a plan of the depot, as he gave evidence at the Old Bailey.

His barrister Michael Boardman asked: "Did you draw that plan?"

He said; "No way. I could have done a better job than drawing that. This plan is such a rubbish plan. It's impossible to tell what is what."

Hysenaj, 28, of New Road, Crowborough, is one of seven men who deny charges in relation to the robbery.

Unemployed Jetmir Bucpapa, 26, of Hadlow Road, Tonbridge; Lea Rusha, 35, of Lambersart Close, Southborough; car salesman Stuart Royle, 49, of Allen Street, Maidstone, Kent; car dealer John Fowler, 59, of Elderden Farm, Chart Hill Road, Staplehurst, Kent; garage owner Roger Coutts, 30, of The Green, Welling, south east London; and Hysenaj all deny conspiracy to rob.

They have also pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to kidnap Securitas employee Colin Dixon, his wife and child, and conspiracy to possess firearms.

Signwriter Keith Borer, 54, of Hempstead Lane, Maidstone, Kent, denies handling stolen money.

The trial continues.
