ARMED police were called to a residential street after threats of violence were reported.
Officers rushed to Whitehawk Way, Brighton, at 12.40pm today to reports of “serious threats of violence” and criminal damage to a parked car.
Armed police attended the scene, but were later stood down as officers made enquiries in the area.
No injuries have been reported and the suspect was not found at the scene.
“The men are believed to be known to each other,” a spokeswoman for Sussex Police said.
